Project Manager

Project Managers are responsible for relations between WMK and the client. They will manage a variety of accounts and projects and must be able to multi-task. They will assess new build plans, various procedures in the production process, maintain an open line of communication with vendors and clients. The project manager will work directly with the customer and help meet their needs and ensure that project deadlines are met. The project manager will be responsible for the purchase and delivery of sub-contracted items to the customer.

Estimators are responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that we know everything required to successfully bid and win the project. Estimators must aggressively follow-up with subcontractors to ensure that bids are received. Estimators also work with project managers to follow-up on bids and budgets . Review bid requirements thoroughly and ask follow-up questions on every bid, has a thorough understanding of the scope/size of the project and skilled trades within the industry. Shows creativity and resourcefulness to gain better pricing from sub-contractors.

Metal Fabricators/welders fit parts of various structural metal products. These products are typically enormous in size and therefore it takes a specialized worker to be able to handle them properly. These objects that they help to construct are typically frames for bridges and buildings. A structural metal fabricator can expect to follow specific blueprints and make patterns and templates as guides. As a fabricator, you can expect to work in a noisy and industrial environment or sometimes outside in harsh weather conditions.

Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies the customer.

Demonstrate and conduct consistent with WMK's s vision and values. Work with foreman in establishing daily work assignments to maximize shift operations. Oversee all yard processes, equipment, and safety. Troubleshoot yard storage problems so that delays are minimized, and equipment functions as safely and efficiently as possible.

Manage/Maintain all safety manual. Travel to project locations to make sure all safety requirements are being met. OSHA logs.  Ensures that a safety management system is established, implemented, and maintained.+
